Sony/PS will never be able to close Pandora’s box ever again lmao they fucked there business for small & short term gains. Not only is first party gonna want to release on PC day n date w games like Lego Horizon don’t be surprised if PS studios push more for Switch 2.

This will have a ripple effect which you’re already seeing. 3rd party publisher doing less & less PS exclusivity deal & pushing more multiplatform even releasing on Xbox which is a dead platform (should tell you about everything) but indies are gonna resist doing exclusivity deals w PS when they can release there games on Switch 2. PS has shown that even they aren’t doing exclusivity so why would others? You have to lead if your a platform holder that you can be successful w just your own platform something PS doesn’t do anymore & only Nintendo & Valve/Steam does.

Get used to the new Sony folks. It needs everything to greenlight a new game now: PC port ,switch release, Netflix series, live action movie and Lego toys.

Yes!! Sony can't get the first party Nintendo level of sales from you guys so it needs to make extra cash somehow.

Yes, from PC gamers (for now, maybe switch later).Sony has been doing that since March 2020. Go to the California HQ and discuss with them then.

The alternative would be you guys buying more first party games to offset the monstrous costs of said games but you don't do that. FIFA, GTA, F2P flavour of the month and COD are PlayStations bread and butter, not first party single player games.

I love the Gravity Rush games but they didn't sell a shit anywhere.

Btw, what works the most in Asia is F2P gatcha games (particularly for mobile/PC), not Gravity Rush.

Sony does not see things like you warriors do. It's not PS vs PC. If god of war were to sell 45M copies at 60 USD then the conversation would be different.

The heart of the matter is that the console audience does not buy as much games as Sony would like So they need extra money from anywhere. Even PC gamers will do. So in a way, yeah we are bailing Sony out.

And after the concord and upcoming fairgame$ flops they would be even more desperate.
