They could've at least gotten the other biomes done before releasing the game, but with 3 - 4 - 3 who knows when the game would have actually released

If anything, Halo Infinite should have been scaled down even more. The "open world" is nice and I enjoyed it but it didn't need all this other stuff in the game. I would have made the story campaign longer and cut out most of the optional side content. I would have left in the FOB's and the Bounties. Everything else would have been gone.

Hoping that the story expansion is more linear and just focuses on the story/characters. If they add a few FOB's and Bounties, that's fine but I don't need all the other stuff.

It's not exactly one biome, it's one general location with several variations within. Also since when is this a problem? Look at most open world games particularly the Far Cry series, they all take place in a single location.

It's a 20-40 hour game depending on what you do, there's so much already taking place and filled out it wouldn't have made sense for anything else. Also if you beat the game you'd know there's a very clear shift in biome coming.

It feels like the game still needed one more year of delay to have enough content.

Plus the split SP and MP seems not to be paying off… similar thing happened with TLOU2 split and it was really bad too imo… the game lost a lot of it uniques without the MP.

this game has got to be one of the biggest trainwrecks in modern development history. just a complete and utter bait and switch from the reveal concept.

honestly, there should be some form of legal action and compensation planned for anyone who spent money on this game.

Halo wasn't very good even when it was made by Bungie, it sure as hell ain't good now that 343i, a completely incompetent dev team, ran it into the ground. How could anyone think that a game that pretty much killed the viability of the series is any good is beyond me, don't be in denial.

Looks like garbage, really short and uninspiring campaign and a MP that is dead already. Master Chief, what a joke this guy is, one of the worst characters in gaming, dude it the avatar of boredom and they don't even have the guts to kill this guy.

even the art is soooo ugly in this game. looks like they went back to the cartoon artstyle from 2001. These guys really have no vision or direction.

it's truly a sullied and ruined franchise. i really wonder what they can do to save it moving forward, because it's certainly no where close to where it used to be and I can't see it ever coming back, hot off a string of failures in MCC, Halo 5, Halo Wars 2 and Halo Infinite (all objectively 70-or lower range games).

Sad, sad studio. Bonnie Ross takes the prize for worst studio head of the millenium. hundreds of millions of dollars in damages rests all on her shoulders.

the good thing is though, for real fans, Destiny is still there and as good as ever. So the real Halo lives on in all reality, so it all ends well in the end.

now it's just a matter of 343 getting what they deserve. Not advocating for people to lose their jobs, but Bonnie Ross is the exception. She really is a malicious, bad-faith actor and might actually be actively sabotaging Halo out of spite.

Staten’s job was to pick up the pieces and mentioned they didn’t actually cut much from what they decided would be in the launch game.
