Turns out gamers were the conservative prudes all along and can't even handle two women making out.

It would make more sense that if they have to complain, to do it in any case (in a polite way, without harassing) to the studio behind the game (and if someone in particular, maybe their writers or creative director), or if something to PlayStation Studios (or their head, Hermen).
