A good video showing the difference RAM can make on otherwise identical cards.

Was bandwidth taken into account in his analysis? My RTX 4060 has about double the bandwidth of a RX 6500 despite also being 8GB.

I don't see why games would massively increase in requirements until nextgen given that PS5 is the target for most AAA games.

For 1080p, by the time your 8GB becomes a problem your card will likely be already ancient.

Im not site if bandwidth was taken into account.

Seems like bandwidth is the same for the 4GB and 8GB versions of the 6500 XT.

I don't like the RX 6500 at all, with it's PCIe 4.0 x4. It's a budget GPU that is going to stink on old mobos that don't have PCIe 4.0.

PS6 better have at least 32GB
The higher bandwidth vram has the less you need of it. PS5 Pro has faster vram then base PS5 which is why the Pro will have more bandwidth out of the same 16gb if vram. If PS6 has 32gb of vram I expect it to do path tracing lol.
