Both IGN and Kotaku need to be shut down, this is extremely unprofessional of them
This is dumb, and gives both IGN and Kotaku more power & attention than they deserve. Sony doesn't care about appeasing outlets that would just move the goalposts to something else to dog the game. Shift Up definitely doesn't care about these types of Western media, especially one who's on the verge of bankruptcy (Kotaku).
Frankly I'm tired of entertainment being used as tools in a (highly American-led) culture war of stupid. I'll just say the folks who want to boycott the game now because of small changes like the 'Hard R' thing or a bunny suit being slightly changed, were probably not genuinely interested in the game to begin with. And they aren't that different from the woke people who boycotted Harry Potter Hogwart's Legacy simply because J.K owns the IP (but had zero direct involvement with that game).
In fact, boycotting over that small a change would just be giving Kotaku, IGN, ResetERA etc. a W and, very likely, even less games remotely like Stellar Blade. So just think about that.

It’s not conspiracy. It’s how that generation has been programmed. Lost cause… they won’t reproduce. Childless 40 year old women and gay men who’d rather be women. Extinction level threats to society.
The fact Sony crack for these weirdos I don’t understand not even Nintendo censor Bayonetta from what I know of. Correct me if I’m wrong.
But whats the reason of signing a Bayonetta type game that has clear fan service if your going to censor it? What’s the point of promoting a uncensored game globally then censor it I expect a class action that’s pretty false advertising, a censorship on the bunny suit so small that makes you wonder why Sony even paid any mind to it while there other outfit in the game that are more revealing.
This with PS porting there games to PC makes PC look like the better platform to not just play gaming but to play PS games in general. I’ve seen many people now say they’ll refund & wait for the PC or to just wait for the inevitable PC port that Sony does to mod the game
Fuck Kotaku. IGN at least has some things worth saying every once in a while, but Kotaku can burn for all I care. What a bunch of losers fuming over fictional video game pixels.

Kotaku has been extremely toxic for gaming, continuously sowing seeds of division and politicising gaming.
So I agree, to make gaming even a little better, shutting them down is a positive move.
Kotaku’s purpose is to politicize gaming and help transform and pollute it the same way cinema has been destroyed and everything turned into marvel. There’s many outlets like this. Manufactured controversy to pretend they have any relevance to anyone.
BUT… the same way cable news and print is now obsolete… so is kotaku. This is also why metacritic is also now garbage… gamers don’t trust these publications… they trust their twitter, YouTube and TikTok feeds

Sony has their own DEI department, like pretty much all giant corporations out there... They have to respond to this kind of stuff.
