Warner Bros. responded with a statement to IGN denying that it will be a service game. "Wonder Woman is a single-player action-adventure game set in a dynamic open-world. This third person experience will allow players to become Diana of Themyscira and introduce an original story set in the DC Universe, while also featuring the Nemesis System. Wonder Woman is not being designed as a live service," a Warner Bros. spokesperson said.

I don’t get the idea of making a service games out of capeshit. What? Loot for The Hulk? Does that make ANY sense. Even less so when the loot doesn’t even have a visible change to character appearance because the devs and pubs were too stupid and just thought they could sell skins without making an actual game first. (See Avengers)

I would interpret this as the Assasin’s Creed model of service for a single player game. For the short run, 1-2 years of content support. Semantics issue. Make a giant, sterile map and fill it with armor and weapons. Half ass some buildcrafting system but as long as “numbers go up.” And then release a bunch of dlc expansion content.

This means it’s an open world sandbox action rpg. They should just call Ubisoft and ask if they can reskin that new stars wars game or avatar.

(Just read the actual report. This is sounds like Mordor. My bad… it’s a Mordor reskin).
