Im tired of reading fanboy console war FUD on twitter

Just want to vent a little.
Fanboys are the worse on social media.
They distort the truth, spread FUD and we’ve known for years that the vast majority of shit they say is unfounded, done just to trigger people on the opposite side. And twitter algorithm seems to love to put these tweets on everyone’s feeds so it gets more traffic to the site.
It’s trash feeding trash and hate feeding hate.
Since the financial reports, my feed is been filled with FUD from all sides and it just doesn’t end.
Call me hypocrite or whatever, but it’s tiresome.

I love Twitter. Get all my news and updates there first. Have a bunch of PlayStation and Xbox guys I follow and rarely do they go "off" and even when they do, I just don't reply to what they say. Of course, vast majority of who I follow are actual game accounts, development studios and publishers.

I just love too see an Xbox fan with wild unrealistic expectation about tools, market domination, PlayStation not being able to compete... makes my day knowing that all of that will blow in their face like it always does.

Twitter is a war zone. More often than not the war goes our way due to simple facts. Gotta grow thick skin young padawan. You can't be ok with the amout of shit that gets dished out to the other side, legitimate or not, and expect somehow that the pent up pain from the other side stays locked away without an escape valve...which is released at any convenient, even if misplaced or manufactured chance. It's the human condition to constantly argue and chose sides. There will always be Xbox fans as long as the console is manufactured and not all will be neutered pussies that take the bullying with a smile, some do fight back and hold the line, even if it's a losing fight for them. If you've read any history book ever you would understand it... it's a human constant. There are millions of folks who simply won't agree with your version of reality, your preference and facts, so in essence you'll always be bound for a collision course with someone, on some topic or theme, big or small, with rules or without rules. It's the realization that the only thing you have may common with millions of strangers is just the fact that you play games (and being a human being obv)..... outside of it being a whole world of differences and contradictions.

The console warriors on twitter are whatever, they are mostly harmless. Its the big media sites like the verge/tom warren, Jez Corden, and other sites that shamelessly add to it. People think its more legitimate if its reported by them.

If you want care free stress less life get off social media. I don’t have twitter, instagram, any of that shit.

I live rent free. And anyway threads are where real discussion happens.

Easier to form a discussion when you are not limited to 150 characters.
