In the UK, Xbox Series S and X has now overtaken sales of the original Xbox. PS5 is now closing in on 3DS/2DS sales.

Xbox one and xbox series x/s versions of games combined cant even outsell just the ps4 version
It is launch aligned I believe... not Xbox LT.
It still needs like 400-500k units sold to beat Xbox LT.

Being fair it is a terrible achievement.... took Series X/S over 3 years to beat original Xbox sales at same period of time in UK.
Xbox that sold really bad.
Finding it hard to narrow it down but going by this;

I would estimate that they are at roughly 2.5 million or so.

I agree, and the 10,000 unit differences are easy enough to explain various ways, but -80,000 in Japan and +90,000 in Europe are weird, those are larger changes... I'd think consolidated vs. non-consolidated could only decrease sales, not increase them, and that since Japan is the home region it...
Guys, it's all due to that supply shortage. It will fix itself any day now.
This may sound like Series is selling much faster but original Xbox launch in March 2002 and discontinued by mid 2005. That is just around 3 years 2 months. Xbox Series is now 3 years old.

A ratio of about 1.8:1.
Higher than last gen that was around 1.5:1.
