If so, what will that mean for future highend multiplat games that will take advantage of the PS5/PS5 Pro and PC later in the generation?
MS seems to indicate the XS/X is the "pro" of the Xbox console platform, so really later on gen games could be a lesser gaming experience overall on the Xbox platform to accomodate the XS/S
Or
MS does come out with a XS/X "pro" and multiplat developers will be forced the complicated task of developing for 3 consoles - XS/S, XS/X and XS/X "pro" and try to have some feature parity...or sacrifice them for XS/S versions.
Either way, I think MS'c completey clustered this generation from the get go and to top it all off, their real goal of 'Games as a service' - Game Pass/Xcloud has it's own complications with the latest CMA requirements.
Personally I care nothing for Game Pass/Xcloud because I like to own my games and not rent them until servers or license issues shut them down
but what does Microsoft really have going for them later on in the generation?
