Ahhh, yes in Irish we would soften the "t" and it might sound a little like that, that's very true. But the start / middle might sound a bit more like "Kaaitsh" (I don't know if that translates to the sound I have in my head, for you)

It's a dumb debate anyway, FF7 doesn't have ireland or scotland and Reeve has a normal american accent

Back when the game was first released in the late 90s this is how they said it was pronounced. Calling it “Kate Sith” sounds like a dumb Americanization to me but oh well.
