The ps5 hardware sales are roughly 50k a weeks, which doesnt seem that bad to me but no software in the top 10 two weeks in a row is baffling to me.

It's been reported Japanese people are spending more time on PS+ than anyone else.

Any links? I'd like to see PS+ usage in Japan vs, say, here in America. If it really is heavily in favor of Japan that could explain the large gap in (physical) software sales between regions.

That still doesn't explain the lack of software... So new owners don't buy a single game?

I highly doubt every PS5 owner in Japan is subscribed to PS+.

Article also states Japan tends to lean more physical than other regions.... I just find it weird how abysmal software is this generation for them.

Which leads me to believe there's less PS5 in the territory than we think but eh.

I wonder what the physical to digital split is for ps5 games in japan.

If we say the the split is 50-50 or even 40-60 in favour of physical, that would push the games up a few spots on the charts.

Nope, it says that Japanese market spend the most time on average(per user in region).

Meaning if US got 5M people spending 3 hours a day playing PS+ games, and Japan got 1M people spending 6 hours on average PS+ playing PS+ games. Slides also re

Every countries has those social rejects(?) or N.E.E.Ts sitting at home playing vidya all days but Japan has more even though less userbase than US.

Pikmin 4 still on top. Let's hope Nintendo keeps the franchise alive with more frequent releases.
