Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Supermassive Games have announced Little Nightmares III for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam) as part of Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live. It will launch in 2024.

The first 2 weren't although you do have a partner in the second which makes for a good twist ending

Play it cause it is better. It’s a prequel.
