He’s right if we’re discussing any company but Microsoft. Sticking around long enough to buy Activision Blizzard was a huge gain they didn’t have to earn. The market has opened to people who don’t care about PlayStation’s credibility as well, so that evens the playing field greatly for MS.
It’s not happening right this moment, but there will be a point in the future where it’s clear they can’t be taken out. They’ll just lose in the background and wait for an opening as they did with Activision Blizzard.
Let's be honest, even if Microsoft stops producing Xboxes - Xbox as a brand will still be a powerful force on everything with a browser in the future.
I even think we'll see "Xbox" on PlayStation before PS7.
Get ready for the next round. LmaoCounter-terroists win.
As long as they exit the hardware sector, things can change for the better. Unfortunately I don't see how they could at this stage due to GamePassHe’s right if we’re discussing any company but Microsoft. Okay here's my prediction. The next Xbox will just be a tiny box with latest WiFi standards - you'll get it free if you buy a 12 month GamePass subscription. Microsoft will bump up monthly GP price to $20-$25 in 2028. Around 2030 we'll see "Xbox" on PlayStation.Keep telling yourselves that.
The assumption here is that Game Pass is that massively attractive service that everybody is and will flock to. That is simply not true, and that's one of the biggest reasons why Xbox is in the state it is currently in.Okay here's my prediction. who?
Not that he's wrong but this dude totally gives off Big Lebowski vibes. It's like they took some random stoner off the street, what's this guy's pedigree?
I think as of now GP already is too expensive for what they offer, even if adding the Activision Blizzard content on it and their growth has been stuck for a while.Okay here's my prediction. That price hike will force them to close the service because nobody will pay that much for Gamepass. When the 2/3rd majority of hardcore userbase itself doesn't subscribe to a service at $11 per month, why would casual gamers subscribe to that service when the price is bumped to $20 to $25 per month?
