Didn't Microsoft also lobby to make it impossible for the IRS to hire expensive (competent) lawyers? Believe the argument was that it would be difficult for 'small businesses' to defend themselves. Fuck these cunts.

Just pay it upfront they'll lose more money if they try to fight it.
Maybe the govt. should ... you know ... block major acquisitions while this is hanging out there.
Whoowhee i dare say this news is quite alarming. I would imagine microsoft Is quite indignant with this current predicament. personally I wonder how they will fiddle with the breadsticks in the law to get what they desire.
AS they say, it will take several more years... So update the thread in 2055, when it's finally settled and $30 billion is the average hourly wage in America.
