It's Officially Summer now that we are in July here in the states. Not many from the other place know this about me but I'm a big Motorcycle guy. My passion for motorcycle is as big as my passion for Games.
As I get older I realize how much I want to collect Motorcycles instead of rare video games which I also have a collection of.

Currently with Gas prices and my VW being in the shop most of June and now its going back in July I find myself riding my bike a lot more and loving the shit out of it even more.

Current Ride is a 2007 Yamaha FZ6 with raised bars, and a smoke Puig windscreen.

I made this thread for other fellow motorcyclists to share their rides, projects ect.
I recently redid my landlords garage and now have a mini Bike setup that suits me fine for doing oil changes, and other maintenance.

My long term goal is to have a insulated/somewhat heated poll-barn garage filled with different bikes.

I am a huge fan of old school Triumph triples, 80's Japanese bikes like the GPZ 900, Honda Interceptor 700, Honda RR, Kawasaki ZRX1200R all somewhat rare bikes. I also am a big fan of the Honda Nighthawk line, I currently am rebuilding a 1983 Honda NIGHTHAWK 750.

Bike I want to start collecting:

2002-2005 Kawasaki ZRX1200R

1998-1999 Honda CBR 900 rr

1985 Yamaha FJ1100

Bike Below is My 1983 Honda Nighthawk 750 Project bike.

My First Bike was a mint 1982 Honda cm450c:

My work life balance has not been great, and having a heated place during the long winters up here in upstate New York makes it challenging.

So fellow riders, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!

I would like to see your rides, your previous bikes you've owned, and what your workspace looks like. I love talking bikes.
So anyone with passion for riding and motorcycles please let this thread be a haven for all of you.

Happy riding, and be safe out there!

I have never ridden a motorbike myself, but I remember being like 11 years old. I had a friend called Ray, his dad owned a massive farm in Zimbabwe.

Ray had a bike called an xr-90, a small bike i guess, anyways i remember him taking me for a ride on it, we took a shortcut through one of the maize fields, i remember when we came out the other side of the field, my arms had cuts all over them from the corns leaves hitting us.

Ray's dad also gave Ray a beating that night for trampling a line through the field, he sent me to bed with no supper lol.

After that, NO MORE BIKES

That sounds like when I was 14 riding a ex250 three wheeler without permission. I got slapped so hard felt my soul leave my body.

Is that the new Adventure bike Aprilia put out?

Edit, Nope here's the Aprilia Tuareg:

Hot looking bike, my next bike will probably be the Yamaha Tenere T7. But I had been eyeing the Aprilia, just dont have a close dealer near me.

I literally had to buy my Aprilia from Ohio because there were 0 in TX. The manufacture of the bike is very limited in the US and has to be shipped from Italy.

Don't sleep on Italian bikes is what your telling me, lol. I am interested in the Tuareg, but also moto Guzzi is also Italian and their bikes are great I hear, but somewhat of a nightmare to work on. Specifically the electronics.

One thing I love about my bike is that it's a middle of the road bike (not too fast) but it has every electronic feature you can have like the liter bikes have. Cruise Control, Anti-lock, Traction control, Wheely control, adjustable map change in realtime, and engine braking control.

Damn what I wouldn't give for cruise control. My Bike has a 5+ liter tank so I can go a good long ways. But even with the bars raised my wrist always gets cramped.

That is one sexy bike!

I like the Italian color theme they are going for now. Reminds me of the oldschool HONDA COLORING for their bikes/Three wheelers.

They use to rock the blue, white, red.

This is the bike I want to collect the most:

1986 HONDA VF1000R
Honda-VF1000R.jpg

1986-honda-vf1000r-94280-214.jpg

19ef918bd2c5af984c7be8413b65fa01.jpg

Thats straight off the racing track and onto the streets. This is when Honda had balls.

It's sad that I'm getting hard looking at this thing..............

Those double headlights is such a fucking awesome look. Suzuki did it for early days of GSX-R, and the 90's Katana, but then went square headlight after 97.

that bike really looks cool, whats the top speed on that thing, it looks zippy.
I modded it. Stock top speed is only 142mph. I have only taken it 125mph before getting too scared. It's a low 11.2s bike stock but with my mods I'm probably in the high 10s. It's only 2 cylinders and has a longer stroke and wider bore than the VF4 version (which is the liter bike that goes 180+mph).

i don't think I could even go off a cliff at 125 miles an hour, to scary for me.
