Neptunia’s kind a long running series so it’s got an established fanbase. Most play this series for the comedy, what with characters in this being personified versions of consoles in a console war lol It’s funny.
Not sure what you mean... Neptuna is a know franchise.
It obvious niche but it has it own franbase.
The games are good for what it is... but I love them.
Since Cross Edge (2008) the first game I played in this type of engine/gameplay I like these games.
The gameplay evolved since Cross Edge... from a chess like table to a more open field type... but it is essentially turn-based.
Edit - I talked more about others Neptunia games... this specific one is Action based... it is a spin-off.

I've played one of the games in the series. It's not very good but some people like it because there will always be a market for cute anime girls.
That said... everything about it is cringe.
Their Neptunia Game Maker that just cane out this month is going to Xbox in summer.
Well the series has been around for a long time, the creators never evolved past the ps2/ps3 era. Common problem with japanese devs.
There's also a small "gimmick" to the series.
I believe there is a character that each represents the big 3 (PS, Nintendo, Xbox).
