Little rant... sick and tired of stick drift on the left stick. Sony continues to ship these controllers with a part that is a known LEMON. Loved all the changes of the Dualsense and the new tech but man does Sony needs to find a new supplier and a new analog stick mechanism. After a lot of use I also find L2/R2 to not be as responsive as I would like for games that don't make use of the adjustable trigger mechanism. In games that don't make use of it, the tolerance for pressing is high and thus kicks in when almost fully depressed. Since there is a lot of travel for the trigger, you lose precious miliseconds - as opposed to a low tolerance approach, soft touch approach with games that do support the trigger mechanism. The X button is not as clicky as I would like either (too recessed in). Everything else is sort of ideal although I also prefer the DS4 d-pad to the Vita clone d-pad. 100s of gaming hours will do that to you I guess - you find all the little faults imaginable, and some are just personal to you. The analog stick issue however - universal. Shit is disgusting at this point.

I probably rubber banded my poor Dualsense and Dualshock 4 thousands of hours to grind credits in GTs, the joysticks still working great.
Someone thinks it cool to price a car at 2 billion credits so I dunno what else to do.

I hope so, they really should. For such an expensive controller, they should have every type of customization. White isn't the best basic color to go with either.
How can you even do that with rubberbanding? Circle steering, those cars can't steering without flipping over?
Yea also the milage trophy are the worst.

Since I bought the DSEdge no more worry about drifing. The old DS is now the rubberbanding machine.
Sony stuff always looks gorgeous in Cobalt.

Been so long I forgot the details. I just remember I did it and from that day forth....never again.
Damn I've never lusted after controllers before but that kinda made me want to buy it
If you see one in person you will not be able to resist.
If they sold the dualsense edge in that color I'd get it. I won't buy any standard dualsenses because I've already had 3 drift on me (have bought 4 extras so far, 2 black and 2 white, both black controllers drifted and i had to send one back bc it was within a week of getting it, and the one that came with my ps5 got drift after about 9 months). After I bought the edge I won't touch the default controllers unless they start putting hall effect sticks in them
All these horror stories about the Dualsense and all of mine still work perfect. I had to trade my launch PS5 with the default Dualsense and it was still like new. And I used it everyday.
I have no idea how you guys have so many issues. I imagine kids throwing it across the room, sitting on it and touching it with dirty hands. Y'all messed up.
The controller is already out? I can buy it for shipping tomorrow. It's in stock everywhere

Yes, the new cobalt blue and the new red ones are out. Just the sterling silver one is after Christmas.
I want one even though I only use the Edge for all my PS5 and Mac gaming!Looks really nice. Wish I didn't have four already. Still might not stop me.
