Speaking with the Japanese publication Mainichi, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has said that the Nintendo Switch 2 rumors are inaccurate.

On the Nintendo Switch 2 and citing reports that Nintendo provided explanations about next-generation consoles to specific software makers in 2022 Shuntaro said, “Rumors are circulating mainly on the Internet as if they were public information, but they are inaccurate.”
