Rumors suggest that NVIDIA is set to unveil and reveal initial details about the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards in a ‘Special Address’ during CES 2024 on January 8th. This speculation has circulated ever since the company confirmed its intentions to host this event. The latest information indicates that the company may introduce first SUPER cards just nine days after the announcement, with at least one SKU scheduled for release.

According to reports, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER is anticipated to make its debut on January 17th, followed by the release of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER a week later. The final addition to the RTX 40 SUPER lineup, the RTX 4080 SUPER, is rumored to hit shelves on January 31st. It appears that NVIDIA plans to stagger the release of each model, spacing them out on a weekly basis.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER dates

  • RTX 40 announcement: January 8, 2024
  • RTX 4070 SUPER launch: January 17, 2024
  • RTX 4070 Ti SUPER launch: January 24, 2024

Very good generational chip. It should last pretty long as far as doing well performance-wise for the most modern games. It's funny how even this generation can't perform well enough without frame generation. That proves we are still a ways from having enough power to run RT just on sheer brute force bandwidth.

Don't hate! Nvidia is doing hella better than lame-ass AMD!
By selling AI GPUs to big corporations lol. They actually make similar revenue in the client gaming gpu space because amd supplies chips for playstation and xbox.

I know that but they still aren't anywhere near Nvidia's tech or valuation. It is what it is. Just because AMD supplies the consoles don't mean they get points. Nvidia is factually ahead of AMD and the granddaddy of GPUs/AI/etc..

I think AMD's doing fine for having almost gone bankrupt 7 years ago. Nvidia has better products by a little bit and better software support but AMD is doing ok in price/perf. This is probably the last gen they'll get away with having shitty RT performance though, so they better step it up.

At least they released FSR3 frame gen as open source so no one needs to get fomo'ed into buying nvidia's overpriced cards. Even people on RTX 20- and 30- cards can use it.

There FSR3 blows. I have it on Avatar and it's has transparency issues. It does give good performance though but the transparency issues are annoying.

Well it's free so...
I don't want vaseline on my screen.

Really hope Sony comes up with something fast because AMD is ruining games fidelity with their vaseline solution. Imagine how bad fake frame gen gonna, it gonna soappy as well.

Stop hyping these upscaling BS up tbh, it gonna be atrocious since the base resolution is 2x2 to 4x4 lower than the output resolution

The problem with FSR isn't vaseline... it's shimmering in details. It looks like static in fine lines and details and is annoying.
