So we know that sony aims to have 63m units shipped by the end of FY23 (April 1st 2024). Xbox will be somewhere around 25-27m. So let's say combined they'll be at 90m units. That means they're predicting 52m units sold through in 20 months. A 38m/14m or 40/12 split seems reasonable.

That would be my guess too, putting PS5 at 101 Million and Xbox at 37 to 40 Million.

I'd just be worried about XBox with the downward trend in their sales recently.

Im hoping it finally leads them to leaving the gaming industry
I think they won't leave the gaming industry, and instead they'll do a Sega and will only quit from being a console platform holder, to focus on being a full multiplatform 3rd party in the consoles side.

They'll say that now will consider their Xbox platform to now cover all gaming platforms including rival consoles (something they already started to say as a damage control measure to calm their fans), where allowed using their own store and subscription service.
