Opening scene in X-Men makes no sense

In the powerful opening scene in X-Men, the soldiers struggle to restrain Magneto, they're even being pulled towards the gate while holding him, sliding in the mud.

Magneto has the ability to manipulate the metal, not his own body.

There is zero reason why it would take 4+ soldiers to have to hold back a child with no physical strength here before knocking him out. At the end of the scene they all fall down as if they were being pulled and suddenly released.

• Wolverine heals at multiple points during the movie and the blood disappears, his power is healing not blood manipulation
• Bobby freezes Pyro's fireball and turns it into a ball of ice but that's not what would happen to fire at best it would have put out the fireball

Freezing the fireball is the one that really annoyed me. Hahaha
