A sequel no one asked for and will probably definitely flop and this studio might not exist in a year as a result
I think it’s exactly what they are doing. Embracer just greenlit anything because the suits who know nothing about gaming believe they can just slap a new coat of paint on an old ip and gamers will just eat it up. They bought so much dead ip they thought nostalgia could just revive.
