Platinum games on different regions. Can you also transfer saves?

Recently I just learn that you can platinum games from different regions on your profile.

I am tempting to buy a bunch of games on PS from US regions just to replay and receive platinums. Can you transfer saves from different regions since I am a bit lazy and wanting to start at NG+

No, saves are region locked.
To be more clear, they are SKU locked. Sometimes saves are not even transferable between different editions of the game in the same region, because they have different SKU ID.

Oh well it is a bummer.

You can still purchase on a different account and as long as that account uses the console as the home console, you can play over on your main account. No save data touching though, unfortunately.
