Played Ape Escape it's a shame Sony has left so many of their IP behind... This could be a huge cross media IP?

They mismanaged the hell out of the franchise outside of Japan imo. The first one they probably handled the best releasing just a few months(May 1999, June 1999, July 1999) after the japanese release, but weirdly they had 2 different dubs for it, one for North America and one for Europe - not sure why honestly?

But then with 2 once again they have 2 different dubs for Europe and North America(full of Pokemon VAs) almost a year after the japanese release(July 2002 vs March 2003 and June 2003) and Sony didn't even bother publish the North American version, Ubisoft did...

And then 3 was a similar deal where the game came out in July 2005 and then January 2006 and July 2006 for NA and Europe respectively. I forget if they had different dubs between 2 regions again or not. Then after that all the crappy spinoffs came out.

A new Ape Escape developed by Team Asobi taking advantage of DualSense's awesome features could be something very special. Make it happen Sony!

PS doesnt honour its older IPs or smaller games.
Blockbusters are great but how about some Ico, Jak n Daxter, Sly cooper etc

The Monkeys have a really iconic and marketable design, like the Minions and Rabbids. Sony just never took advantage of it.

It's crazy how many dormant IP Sony has from the Ps1/2 era
