Poll Shows Players Want Gears of War Above Halo as The Most Wanted Xbox Series on PlayStation

Amid countless rumours that Xbox is planning a pivot to bring some of its games to other consoles, Pushsquare held a poll earlier this week asking the readers which Xbox franchise they'd most like to play on PS5 and PS4, and the results are now in.

After nearly 12,000 votes, it's Gears of War that takes the top honour. Yes, the gory third-person shooter is the most wanted Xbox series to come to PlayStation, according to our readers at least. It pips Halo to the post, which took nine per cent of the votes compared to Gears' 11 per cent. Third in the rundown is Bethesda's RPG series, The Elder Scrolls, with eight per cent.

The only games which interest me would be Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery. Maybe a a port of the original Fable trilogy as well.

Epic's Gears of War games, Bungie's Halo games, Insomniac's Sunset Overdrive and the Rare Collection are the only ones I'd buy.

That's really the only games that interest me from the back catalogue. The future... I'd be interested when I know more about the Kojima OD game but if it is directed by others and not by Kojima, do I really care?

MS has to do some work to revive the whole saga. It feels like we're all willing a remaster trilogy into existence, and hopefully it actually happens. But that will still leave Gears 4 as an awkward entry. It's not on Steam, it was Xbox One. And and they did a Hollywood style reboot/sequel with the plot.

Xbox was honestly kinda awesome thru 360. I’d buy collections and remasters of all my favorites from back then and I def preferred it over PlayStation then but that changed late into ps3 life cycle (bungie leaving tbh and halo 4 sucked)

Moving forward it’s mostly just the Bethesda stuff I’m interested in. Doom is still fantastic.
