It's obviously a last ditch effort to think that some idiot will think the high price compared to the PS5 Pro will think they are similarly powered when heading into the shop. If no Pro, maybe they'll get the most expensive Xbox. This sounds like an awful plan and is relying on trickery and stupidity rather than relying on the positives of the machine.

I'm thinking would it be cheaper to buy an SSD rather than whatever the gap is between you original console sales price and the new console is, is it worth the upgrade?

Oh, it would be cheaper to buy an additional SSD. I just like my toys is all. Plus my Xbox will be 4 years old. It's a USED car now!

I'm on the different side. I'm thinking the games load quick enough and the PS5 is silent so what would hook me to a PS5 Pro except the console dying on me. I played GTA III (ps2 to ps4) today so the extra sharpness in visuals isn't king for me.
