Valve has that new Deadlock game which will be exclusive to Steam. Valve will likely make more games that are exclusive to Steam as if it already didn’t get default exclusive PC games.
Nintendo is double downing bolstering its ability to make more Nintendo games by partnering w Bandai Namco creating 2 new studios that will solely work on Nintendo games. Nintendo bought a port studio to port 3rd party games to Nintendo platform resulting in less 3rd party skipping Nintendo platform or even possibly exclusive Nintendo games that aren’t on PS if there PC or mobile exclusive like the TMNT roguelike game (Sony needs to take notes)
Meta slaughtering PS VR double downing exclusive first party that don’t go to any other platform EVER. It’s a pretty simple strategy you make quality exclusive & your platform & storefront gets more 3rd party support further making your platform & storefront defacto. PSVR has no chance with Sony now focusing on PC they can’t support PS, PC, Mobile & VR 1-2 of those platforms will have to be diminished & what are the platforms Sony is deciding to diminish in gaming PS console & PS VR.
It will be funny if PS5 doesn’t surpass PS4 & that will be mainly because PS4 players aren’t switching to PS5 because Sony is making there games cross gen & releasing there games to PC so instead of a PS4 player migrating to PS5 there migrating to PC

Likely I’ll wait a few years after PS6 releases & see whether they drop there port time from 1-2 years to 6 month-1 year if they haven’t fasten the port before PS6

At this point I would be at peace with the death of PlayStation as the most valuable thing it used to offer isn't something I have confidence they'll be able to maintain anyway (great exclusives). The problem is physical media, without PlayStation Nintendo console are all that is left and there is a decent chance the Switch 2 will be too weak.
Valve should come up with a solution for physical media on PC and on the Steam Deck that allowed for a used market and collector markets to exist.

Lmao I am a big valve fan but the guys in this thread really think they will release single player games they so adore are drinking from the koolaid fountain. The guys here are chomping for yet another mtx multiplayer game like deadlock to come to PS but I thought we were against GaaS guys. So which is it, We don't like GaaS from Sony or any publisher can make GaaS but Sony?

Some types of games just don't sell well on consoles and that is ok, a warcraft or starcraft will always sell more on PC just like a GoW or Last of Us sells more on consoles
