If you haven't bought this game I can't convey enough how your passing up on an awesome game. If your a heavy action orientated gamer, enjoy souls like, love cool bosses and weapons and love co-op play this is a must!

No you don't have to play the first one and it's basically like an action RPG and you can play solo or coop. It's about the shroud:blight taking over the world and it's post apocalyptic theme. It's really fun and addicting and coop works really well.
