Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven demo out

Square Enix has released a new trailer coinciding with today's demo release of the 3D remake of Romancing SaGa 2 on PS5/PS4/Switch/PC. Save data transfers over to the main game.

This game is so good y'all ;-;
They finally gave a SaGa game a budget higher than 2 peanuts. The new orchestrated renditions of the soundtrack are phenomenal, but there's an option in the menu to change it back to the original SNES tracks. The cutscenes are voiced and aren't visual novel-esque but instead actual cutscenes, the character models are nice, the combat itself is really responsive and the Final Fantasy II-esque system of gaining TP in a particular stat and weapon type depending on what you actually used in battle (i.e. curative spells become more powerful the more you use them) along with just learning new attacks and skills from using other skills is really cool and makes a lot of sense from a growth perspective.
