As the PC Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales success and shaping strategy for PlayStation's fast growing PC business. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, PC Planning and Analysis and working in partnership across the PC Team, Channel Digital Sales and GSBO; you will provide forecasts, insights and analysis to drive growth for PlayStation's PC business. You will leverage your expertise in sales forecasting, financial modeling, data visualization and market analysis to identify growth opportunities, optimize pricing and promotion strategies and provide valuable insights to key stakeholders. What you'll be doing:
- PC Forecasting and Performance Reporting- Develop robust sales forecasts, dynamic budgeting models and optimized promotion strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Partner with teams across Global Sales and Business Operations to develop and leverage best practices for sales forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Reporting and Presentations – Generate reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting sales performance, market insights and recommended actions.
- Growth Analysis and Insights - Analyze sales data, market trends, channel performance and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities, evaluate performance, and recommend strategic actions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis - Support ad-hoc analysis & insight generation as required to support PC business objectives.
- Market Insights – Stay updated with industry developments, competitor activities and market dynamics to proactively adapt sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience, MBA or equivalent is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales planning, financial analysis or business intelligence preferably in the gaming, technology or entertainment industries
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial modeling, sales forecasting and market analysis.
- Proficient in using data analysis and visualization tools and software (e.g. Excel, Access, Tableau) to extract, manipulate, and present data effectively.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, xlookups, index+match, charts, and graphs. Programming skills such as Advanced SQL, Snowflake, or Python.
- Ability and desire to create strong relationships and collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Working knowledge of MS Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint)
- Passion for the video game or entertainment industries and a deep understanding of gaming trends and consumer behavior are a plus
