We all know it's happening, this was reported almost 2 years ago. We saw it with Kojima Productions with DS2 and Physint.

They probably gave From a blank slate (well, "no Armored Core or King's Field" but otherwise blank slate) and offered to let them do whatever they wanted, whether thats BB2 or something new.
