Sony Music's subsidiary and game publisher Aniplex announced that today took over the rights of Forwardworks and Quatro A and on October 1st will absorb and dissolve them.
ForwardWoks is a Japanese mobile game publisher and dev studio created by Sony Computer Entertainment back in 2016 (Andrew House era) with the goal of adapting PS IPs to mobile games. Later was acquired by Sony Music back in 2021. They developed several mobile games, many of them for Japan only, like Everybody's Golf, Wild Arms: Million Memories, Arc the Lad R, Disgaea RPG (also released Steam even in the west) or Toro and Friends: Onsen Town. I may be wrong but I'd say all these old games already are discontinued/shut down and didn't have any game announced.
Quatro A is another Japanese mobile gamedev studio, created in 2017, who was working for Aniplex on the game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppuu Kengeki Royale, which got delayed late 2020 and nothing more was known about it.
