After its 8th anniversary, the mobile game achieved 1 Trillion Yen, around US $7B

81.1% of the global revenue share from the official App Store and Google Play Store came from Japan.
China came at a distant second with 8.1%.

Playstation won't even see $1 of that.
Sony gets 100% of it.

Also, Lasengle also develops Melty Blood: Type Lumina, one of the main games at (SIE's) EVO.

Fun fact: the president of Lasengle is Yoshinori Ono, head of Capcom's fighting games during Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter V and most of the development of SF6. Here's him playing on a Steamdeck at Lasengle:

Mate... Mobile game studio boss not contributing to PS subsidiary, a respected fighting game project manager/developer (the correct word escapes me right now), playing on a Steam Deck. I think sometimes Sony and yourself exist to raise my blood pressure.

If Sony had a powerful/performant enough handheld with local storage etc, let's say a PS4P or a PS Deck running on PS ecosystem, they'd not only head Valve off at the pass, but the setup involved for EVO must be easier moved to handhelds then moving consoles and TV's around?

It's a game published and funded by a Sony studio and developed by a Sony studio.

It's a Japanese game development studio who develops primarly Japan focused mobile games, since the main gaming market in Japan (more than in the rest of the world) is mobile. Sony bought them because they develop the most successful Sony mobile game.

Before being bought by Sony this studio also made Japan focused board games, Japan focused escape rooms and Japan focused console+PC games. Some console games were multi, other ones even Switch or PSVR1 exclusive.

Sony did use EVO to promote their consoles, games and high end eSport monitors or headsets. In eSports players are very sensible regarding minor performance variations and demand high end stuff, a handheld wouldn't be good enough for them. And well, Sony doesn't have a big enough PC catalog to compete against Steam with a portable. In a few years in the future they'll be able to open their own PC store with a decent first party catalog and start putting there 3rd party stuff. And then some time after it once they also have a good enough 3rd party catalog there then maybe it would make sense to release their own PC handheld. Until then it doesn't make sense because it would flop due to lack of catalog as happened with Vita.

It's a studio based off Aniplex, TM lisenced their characters.

Also Music department and gaming department of Sony does not go along very well.

Crunchyroll, which is a anime distributing subcribtion in United States bought by Sony Music, incorporated on GP before PS Plus...

Like how tf is that even make sense

Before creating the gaming division of Sony, SIE (well, originally called SCE) all the gaming stuff from Sony like PlayStation, MSX and their games was handled from Sony Music.

Sony Music has subsidiaries who in addition to provide them music also give them stuff like anime or games. Some of these subsidiaries are Aniplex, Lasengle or Crunchyroll.

Bullshit.

SCE was a branch splitted from Electronics department. The PS3/PSP era is probably Sony attempt to create mass media device, which was dumb, but probably the only time these divisions actually work together.

Sony Music is a bit complicated. They got three branches branches, Japan branch which is Aniplex/and their Japan music records, other US one which is bought from CBS, UK one which is bought from some old distributing company.

No. Sony Music Entertainment Japan created Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. in 1993. Many years later SCE got renamed to SIE.

Sony Music is a bit complicated. They got three branches branches, Japan branch which is Aniplex/and their Japan music records, other US one which is bought from CBS, UK one which is bought from some old distributing company.
Sony Music has two parts that operate independently and make separate reports to Sony's investors:
  • Sony Music Group (SMG), which handles their music business outside Japan, in the rest of the world, from USA. It's split into two halfs:
    • Sony Music Entertainment (SME), also known as Sony Music, which is their recording division
    • Sony Music Publishing is their publishing division
  • Sony Music Entertainment Japan (also known as SMEJ or Sony Music Japan), which operates their Japanese music business in Japan, anime and some Japan focused videogames
Each one of these branches have many subsidiary companies, most of them bought or merged. In the case of SME it has dozens of country specific subsidiaries, one of them being Sony Music UK (also known as Sony Music Entertainment UK) to record and promote artists from UK. Just to name another examples, there's also Sony Music España/Sony Music Spain, Sony Music Poland, Sony Music Australia, etc.
