Footage provided to Insider Gaming under the condition that the footage isn’t shared publicly showed that codename Oxygen was set in Polynesia. Footage showed that characters had the ability to shape-shift into different mythical creatures. It’s understood that the different creatures would allow the character to do things including flying, swimming, and controlling the classical elements; fire, air, earth, and water.
It was said that the game could have been around 18 months from its release, with development starting in 2021 – just several months from the game’s original release.
The cancellation of a game is always a disappointment to those who worked on the project, but sources who also internally playtested the game said they were “surprised and confused” at the cancellation because it was progressing well.
