Spyro 4 might be in early stages of development

Canadian Guy Eh, a prominent content creator about Spyro and Crash games just uploaded a video where he mentions rumors he heard about Spyro 4 being in early stages of development

He cites numerous sources who heard the same thing. According to this rumor, Toys for Bob is handling the development of Spyro 4 and work on it allegedly started only a few months ago, in January 2024. This might also be the unnanounced game Toys for Bob has just signed with Microsoft

Good news is if it's published by 3rd party publisher Microsoft Game Studios, it'll be on PS5 for me to enjoy

It makes no sense actually because they fired almost all the staff and closed down the office. Basically cancelling the game they were working on.

You think they would rehire them to work on Crash 4...externally instead?

I guess it's possible if Microsoft is that dumb and incompetent
