So, they must be hurting for cash. Last time they promised Squadron 404 (Game not found) was close, they were promising a 2016 release and didn’t even drop a demo video that year!
(This is allegedly the Wing Commander spiritual sequel that Star Citizen was originally supposed to be before infinite scope creep for infinite cash became Chris Roberts’ main focus. This has been in development for so long that the contracts to use the likenesses and voice of some of the big name actors they hired for the game expired years ago and even caused a lawsuit from Gary Oldman over continuing to use his performance beyond the contractual window!)
