IX is the first of these and will be followed by ff tactics.
I sure hope they release a collection of the XIII remastered with 4K visuals, 60fps and quality of life features. The games are good, the first one was panned because the media had a bias against linearity and Japanese games at the time.
Also, some people can’t read and think lcie (people chosen by the gods do to their tasks) and falcie (the gods themselves) are confusing lol

Not really, I think. 7 and 9 are ports of their mobile counterparts. 8 is the only one with really revamped character models but all of them would benefit from new background art since the current versions are low res.
Also, 10HD character models are hideous, they lack facial expressions and have bad lip sync.
They can all be vastly improved and don’t need VIIR level budget.
I can think of a lot of quality of life stuff that can be added. New translated script for some (ff7 script is badly translated). Bug fixing, orchestra soundtrack. God, these games can be marvelously revamped.

Yeah, it's basically the horror atmosphere of those (maybe closer to RE than Silent Hill) with Final Fantasy VII-esque battle system and gameplay.

Amazing game. Haven't played the sequel as it changes things drastically (similar in ways to how Dino Crisis 2 changed things massively from Dino Crisis 1), but I hear great things about it in spite of the changes.

AHH I'm not into the combat in classic final fantasy games find it boring , ff 16 is the first one I've ever bothered to buy because of the combat being more like god of war / dmc etc

What Square need to do is look at how Capcom do things and emulate how they run such a tight ship.

Final Fantasy should be run like Resident Evil, with a remake or a new entry releasing every 2 years or so.

Treat FFXIV or the next online iteration like Monster Hunter.

Basically, find a close example of each series they have and how it's managed by Capcom or another successful rival and take inspiration from them on how to produce it, how to market it and when to release it.

XI and XIII are only ones who haven't gotten some type of remaster treatment yet, but obviously XI is tricky. If they could make a condensed, single-player version of XI, I think anyone who missed out on it or don't want to commit to an MMO (especially those already playing XIV) would appreciate that.

Besides FF, I'd like to see Xenogears, Parasite Eve, and Bushido Blade.

Exploration was largely an illusion even in the franchise's earliest games. Even if the game gave players two or three different directions to go, most of those directions are blocked off or don't provide them with much to do until more of the game is unlocked. You do still have to find the path to a degree, but the game pretty much always puts you on the same course.
