Street Fighter 6’s Year 2 DLC plans will feature four more characters, two of which, in fact, will be guest characters from SNK’s Fatal Fury franchise in the form of Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui.


Year 2’s first DLC character will be fan favourite series staple M. Bison, who will arrive this summer, and he’ll be followed by the aforementioned Terry in autumn. Mai will arrive at some point in winter early next year, and the fourth and final year 2 character, Elena (first introduced in Street Fighter 3: New Generation) will be added to the roster in spring 2025.​

I think it's a great character selection. Love to see Terry and Mai as guest characters, they are the two most iconic SNK characters and my choice if I had to get a couple from there.

We won't need to wait until early 2025, the next character is M.Bison and will be released this summer. And well, they just released Akuma so the wait won't be too long.

4 characters per year it's just too little. Abd with these invites there's much less of a chance to have proper SF classic characters on it. I'll wait until the ultimate super duper edition is available. I'm not falling for this crap again. Bought SFV on release...

I like the picks. But 4 characters is too few, and the release schedule makes the game boring because it's not you vs. a random assortment of roster picks - the game boils down to you playing against whatever the new DLC character was for months at a time online, until the new one is dropped. I get why they do it and am not sure they can work an alternative, but holy shit it just isn't fun to fight Akuma in every match, every day, for months at a time. It was way better when they dropped a bundle of new characters at once.
