Strong performance US PSN for FF VII Rebirth, especially for a single-player title. Currently #2 Game only behind Fortnite and ahead of Helldivers 2

Not surprising considering how well marketed the game was made on top of it being a legacy title. All I can say though is with this one they set the bar really high for the last part and it's going to be pretty tough to beat.

Im happy just so they can keep investing in RPG's like this! We need these games around forever with high production at times.
Totally agree. I think they should focus their JPRG area in maybe fewer but better games, and to release per generation only this for console and PC:
- Big ass AAA new SP FF (like FFXVI)
- Big ass AAA new MP FF (like FFXIV)
- Big ass AAA SP FF rermake (like FFVII Rebirth)
- Big ass AAA SP non-FF remake on the FFVII scale (Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, Kingdom Hearts 1, whatever old DQ is the most beloved one....)
- Big ass AAA new SP Dragon Quest
- Big ass AAA new SP other existing IP (rotating between Mana, Kingdom Hearts and others)
- Big ass AAA JRPG new IP
I'd help Taito grow and move their the Square-Enix arcade and mobile business, plus making bigger and better games of their classic IPs like Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders, New Zealand Story, Rolling Thunder, Darius, Ninja Warriors and so on.
Really good start for the game and that FF7 remake & Rebirth twin pack was a stroke of genius as well.

Kinda wondering how the sales will be with that one. I know a couple people that said they're holding out until all 3 are out. Fun enough though several of those I know personally buckled after seeing the Rebirth trailers and stopped waiting.And the complete edition eventually that will contain all 3

I think ppl will even double dip just to have a solid Collectors Edition of all three or whatever they come up with "complete edition".
