I feel like this year is going to be a transitional showcase.
Cross-gen games are not a thing anymore for the most part(besides sports/Japanese games).

In the last 2 years, a lot of upcoming new studios announced their first game at this show, almost all of them just a titlecard and/or CGI trailer, so I assume some of those will be here for their "proper" gameplay trailer.

This is my hopes for this year really, to see more "game" in Summer Game Fest.
