That game seems quite demanding for a ps4 title
I realize the 4k on ps5 is checkerboarded from a bit lower res but it's essentially a 4k 60fps game with more/less exactly the same graphical features.
at 1440p on pc that requires 3070,

Nixxes ports are more demanding, specially CPU and memory wise (they typically have memory leaks at launch)
But the PS5 version is not essentially 4k 60 with the same features.

It's 1920x2160 CB which is close to 1620p in raw pixel count and I am sure they didn't go for PC maxed out settings because that would not be the best use of resources on a fixed spec platform. In fact, reducing settings from maxed out to an optimized preset that looks similar grants a 33 percent performance uplift.

And that's without adding DLSS3 and FSR3 into the mix.

The worst thing seems to be some low resolution textures that remain from the PS version even when maxed out. Maybe some AI upscaled texture mod will fix that.

That's why I compared to 1440p and 3070 performance.
As for pc setting using ultra, for sure but it doesn't make any visible difference in comparisons so far. I am sure DF will zoom close enough tho :p

All of nixxes ports have been more demanding of pc hardware than equivalent specs to the ps5. As a trade off they are rock solid, framepacing is excellent, and there's no weirdness with stuttering unless your card just doesn't have enough vram.

Looking at negative reviews, seems to be a greater than usual number of people that have crashing issues.
A bit unfortunate, but yeah the ports usually run well if they do run.

There's no raytracing so it's measuring rasterization performance and AMD cards do well at that.
The results are not that different from other games from Sony.

RX 7600 doing better than the RTX 4060 is news to me, but I haven't been following this stuff. Just bought a RTX 4060 instead of a RX 7600 because I had the opportunity to buy it cheaper, before that I had bought AMD/ATI for about 15 years.
