Nvidia showed off a range of AI features coming to their hardware at Computex. Some highlights:
-using AI to tune your GPU performance in real time; examples given were undervolting the GPU and to alter game settings to match preferred fps targeting the monitor's refresh rate
-in-game help/guides without alt-tabbing
-in-game npc interactive ai (i.e. npcs using chatgpt- style deep language models for conversation), realtime language translation
-8bit SDR to 10bit HDR conversion in productivity tools (photo/video editing)
I'm not a fan of nvidia's greediness but I can't lie they are definitely pushing tech forward.
