It's good to have this resource since I only buy physical games. There's been a few games lately that say they have physical releases, eg. Indiana Jones, when they really don't. I also think this is going to be a thing going forward with MS so I won't be buying any of their games.
 
It's probably using game keys (same as download code for all intents and purposes, with the added disadvantage of occupying the game cart slot).

That would explain the confusion.
