Reminds me of Toys R Us back in the day when i got my first PS1
This is not surprising coming from MS. I like Indiana Jones, but I won't support their continual push towards digital only so this is a no-buy for me.
When I say I buy physical, those are the exact arguments people use to tell me I'm wrong to do so. Every single game in existence downloads a day one patch, the disc is just a code, etc. Even when I say that's not my experience, the goal post just gets moved somewhere else. It's weird how some people really feel threatened by another person making different decisions than them - ie. digital vs. physical.
A long time ago, I used to buy collector's editions. If you had told me that there would come a day when a collector's edition didn't contain a physical copy of the game - I wouldn't have believed it. It's sad to see Sony doing this and Nintendo doing what they're doing.

Big time, it's a clear move that is against the interests of players.
It's actually pro-consumer. Makes it really easy to skip these CEs and spend less money
So unfortunate -it was going to be my first Xbox Publishing (he he) game on PS5. Requiring Internet for this game on disc is just silly. A easy sale, gone.
(Unless this turns out to not be the case)
