X (formerly Twitter) user Tal Helfgott said that he managed to buy the game ahead of its official release, showing a photo of its box as proof.

According to Helfgott, some of the game has to be downloaded, but because he has it early it’s not yet possible to do this – he’s instead taken to the pre-order page for the game on the Switch eShop.

Despite this, at least some of the game is playable, and Helfgott appears to be pleased, referring to it as “another impossible port” for the Switch.

The game doesn’t allow players to capture video footage directly by holding the Capture button – something that occasionally happens in games that push the Switch’s capabilities to its limits.

Instead, then, Helfgott recorded video of the game being played on the Switch on handheld mode, where performance appears to be relatively stable.

I’m positive on Nintendo getting unexpected ports like this, I believe the sacrifice can be worth it depending on your lifestyle. I don’t need top of the line performance when I’m simply trying to crush a quick 30min/1hr during downtime at my desk working. I got Skyrim and Dying Light for travel and the performance in those abnormal situations are more than adequate.

PlayStation Portal could put a dent in these type of purchases for me, though, if it runs well enough.

Good, wonder how long and often the loading screens are, though.
