Thank fuck there is something new. A €10 upgrade for the same game when the PS4 version on PS5 is more impressive than most 2023 releases isn't worth it. This would be definitely worth every cent of the €10

What is this I don't get it? I'm picturing a randomised horde mode or something?

Basically. I may be over assuming but it seems to be a direct response to a subset of players who upload videos of very rapid, brutal kills in succession. Only a few levels in the game were suited for this style of play. Despite that, these videos sold plenty of people on the gameplay after writing the story off.

It's a roguelike (like Returnal and Hades) with procedural generated levels and unlockable characters with different skillsets. - and with a leaderboard.

What if I told you that you are under no obligation at all to upgrade your PS4 games to the PS5 versions?

I know that. I wouldn't see the point on a resolution bump for the game if it was only that for 10. The roguelike aspect is worth way more than a tenner.

Are twitter embeds messing up for anyone else? This appeared as a grey blank post for me, had to quote to see it was a twitter media? :)

Could we auto-add a link underneath youtube/twitter links so that when the live embed elements don't load, we can quickly click-to the material to see it?

Yes, people who downplay this game's gameplay are pretty disconnected. It's just so satisfying to play it more aggressively, even if you can just take your time and stealth your way though many encounters.

I find most of the critics of the gameplay in The Last of Us 1 and 2 are the kind of people too braindead to engage a game on its own terms if it isn’t the usual cookie-cutter generic shooter gameplay they think it should be.

TLOU1 I can understand in some ways, but TLOU2’s combat was well beyond and so much more impactful and awesome

Apparently some unfinished ones that were cut during early development. I assume it means they may be there unfinished/unpolished as a curious thing.
Ah, any chance they make it polished into the main story?

Either way, cant wait to play it again
