The Star Wars: KOTOR Remake drama has seen more positive and negative news than any other game. The game was first revealed two years ago with a dramatic teaser, and it was announced that Saber Interactive is developing the game along with BioWare and Obsidian Entertainment.

In just the past month, the number of times the game has been reported to be shelved, dead, or under development would make it sound like a rare Bigfoot sighting that can’t be relied upon. Amidst all this, reliable leaker and gaming industry journalist Jason Schreier has shed some light on the drama and believes that the game is surely under development.

Schreier compared the game’s status to that of the young boy who was seen towards the very end of the 2017 movie, The Last Jedi, moving a broom with the force. Schreier went on to explain that the remake “Definitely exists, but will anything ever come of it or will everyone just move on like it never happened?
