According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Illumination and Nintendo adaptation cleared $1.248 billion in worldwide ticket sales this week, which puts it ahead of the previous third-placed animated film The Incredibles 2 (2018, $1.243 billion).

According to The Numbers, a site which collates global movie ticket sales data, only Disney’s Frozen 2 ($1.284 billion) and Frozen ($1.452 billion) have generated more than the Mario Bros. Movie, which puts it within a chance of topping the table.

I need to give that movie another chance. Spiderman is my favorite hero and the art style is beautiful but I found the fps to be sooo annoying, I could not ignore it even if I wanted.

But there is no story or plot or anything.
Things happens without any explanation or setup.

I mean the idea of this movie is about how the movie conveys and translate the game into movie

The disney boss bob iger or whoever his name is even told that illumination studios have one big advantage they dont have which is they dont need good story to tell, signifying the big difference between the two sides
