But coming to the point of the post- From my years of moba experience, the hero will see a lot of play if its dps agi based late game carry/pos 1 or a mid laner/pos 2 with flashy skills. The skins will sell like hot cakes if it is one of those 2 roles, the character look doesn't factor much into the popularity of the hero. In dota the most popular hero is a fat ugly abomination with a torn stomach because he is skill based and fun to play.
