Horizon: Forbidden West is back at the top of the UK physical charts.

After Xenoblade Chronicles 3's No.1 debut last week, becoming the biggest launch in the Xeno series so far, the title had to settle for No.10 this week, with sales down 83% week-on-week.

Horizon: Forbidden West has recently been boosted by hardware bundles. And while sales for Sony's hit were down 25% week-on-week, it was enough to reclaim No.1.

PS5 bundles also benefited Gran Turismo 7 this week, which climbed from No.13 to No.5 following a 32% increase in sales.

Promotions on PS5 versions of Battlefield 2042 and Demon's Souls also helped both titles to re-enter the charts, respectively at No. 24 and No.13.

These charts mean nothing now, Sony is at like 80% digital and Microsoft is undoubtedly beyond that. These threads need to stop being made.

PlayStation owners buy more physical copies than Xbox owners.

That ratio is just for the quarter. It always fluctuates.

Either way, physical games are still being sold so the charts are relevant.

Horizon got some serious legs. Good to see GT7 doing well here too given some of the negativity it has attracted.

It has perfect meaning. You guys are getting excited over a couple thousand copies of even the top selling game at most.

Physical in general has become a worthless metric on the back of digital adoption, and worse than that you try to derive anything from this drop in the bucket data.

This shit made sense 10 years ago, it means nothing now.

But there's no reason a game which sells well in physical form would sell bad on digital.

I don't see why the digital sales would favor a very different list of games (outside of bundles If they're physical games and not digital codes)...
